BU is a bright, curious boy who lives in a colorful and musical East African village where the five magical tribal drums that carry the feelings of the people (they think) suddenly vanish! Leaving the people to fall into a silence and sadness. No rhythm, no music no joy!

But playful BU isn't one to give up easily. With a brave heart and a small brown canoe, he sets off alone on a wild river journey to find the drums and bring back the joy they once carried.

As BU travels the rough rivers, never felt by him, he begins to realize something extraordinary: The rhythm he has been searching for isn't "out there lost", it's within him!

The beat of joy and courage and play flowing through his mind and body as he navigates the even rougher river path!
Eventually he comes back from his voyage and shares his insights to the village...

It's a fun tale for sure; one made to inspire all of us to look within for our peace, joy and playful selves!

BU's story gently teaches children emotional intelligence by showing that:
*Feelings are real and valuable
*You don't have to "fix" emotions - just feel and follow them into who you are and an activity that uplifts or changes your perspective
*Joy is an inside job, not something else someone can give or even 5 magical African drums!
* Your inner rhythm is always with you, even when the outside world feels quiet.
" And always remember, use your Imagination and - BU"
