Hello! We are Paul & Laurie, the creators of World of Whimsy! A place where our combined talents merge to bring whimsical art and story from our hearts, locally and across the nation.  

It all began August 5th, 2020. One date led to many more, which led to truths about both of us, which brought us into a journey to heal. And heal we did! Using our creativity and our imagination, we have been able to explore together the arts of drumming, painting, writing and storytelling that led to a philosophy and desire to give back to the kids most in need of support. We understand the human suffering of shame, loneliness and not belonging, that understanding propels us to be their voice and their beacon of hope in a dark time. 

 

We decided in 2023 to begin the process of finding ways to give what we had created with our books and art to these children. We have created World of Whimsy, not only for  our own journey of introspection and change, but to ripple out the wonder, imagination and  creative contribution to humanity!
